Chiocciole pasta in tomato sauce
(for 4 people)

450 gr (1 Lbs) of chiocciole (or other pasta)
450 gr (1 Lbs) of fresh or tinned tomatoes
3 cloves of garlic
6 basil leaves
4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Parmesan cheese
Salt and chilli powder (or pepper)

Pour the tomatoes with the garlic (cut into large pieces), the basil and the olive oil in a large sauce pan. Add salt and chilli powder to taste.

Cook for about 10 minutes on medium heat adding water if necessary, then remove the garlic.

Cook the pasta in salted water and, after having drained well, pour into the pan and stir for 1 minute.
Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.

This is a very good recipe for all people, for vegetarians and vegans also.
